Organized Living

I recently became a fan of those e-readers and noticed that there weren't any nice cases to choose from. Me being the savvy gal that I am, created a few of my own.

Choozy One

Another lazy Sunday. Just finished looking at my next "apparel" project online and to my surprise I found several. Oh yeah, I gave up on that home decor project :-/ Guess I have no patience to make what I can't wear.

Oh well, on to the next one. Have a great week everyone and to those that read this. Live each day as its your last, love with all your heart and laugh your ass off!

Lazy Sunday Afternoon

It's a lazy cold afternoon here in the CHI. Watching the Bears/Packers game and surfing the net. GO BEARS!!!

Just picked my next project, a home decor item. Hope to post pics of the completed project. Wish me luck....

Tis The Season

The holidays are here!! I'm usually not so chipper during this time of year. I'm in a "happy place" this year :-) I have so many things to be thankful for, my blessed year.

Please take extra care to tell those you love just how much they mean to you, give of yourself this holiday season don't just be on the receiving end.

Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year!!!

First snow

This weekend was the first snow of the season. So beautiful and peaceful to look at from my window. To celebrate, I bought lots of yarn to make hats and scarves. I plan to relax on my comfy couch with a cup of hot choclate and create. This winter is going to be interesting but at least I will look fabulous.

Family of Slippers

These were made one cold Saturday morning when I couldn't find my socks. And then I couldn't stop making them!
Thanks http://www.allcrafts.net/f.asp?url=goodknits.com/blog/mary-jane-slippers/ for the pattern!

Monday Blues

Good day Monday, or should I say not!  I am at home with a nasty cold that my eldest son left me with from his Thanksgiving break.  He went back to school feeling better and left me miserable. :~(

I had a lot to be thankful for this past thanksgiving.  I had a great time with good food and family.  I am truly thankful to be alive and to have people in my life that love me no matter what.  Wishing everyone a great day and productive week.  Until next time.
